Resolved Чем отличается дефис от тире и как их ставить?

Я всегда ставил - знак минус - это у меня и дефис от тире, чем они отличаются? Хотел бы теперь начать их писать правильно. Подскажите, пожалуйста.

Тире или черта — знак означает паузу, либо какое-то пропущенное слово.
Дефис или чёрточка - это знак для переноса или разделения слова.
